Superhero Day Camp (Grades K-5)
June 3-7, 2019
9:00 AM-3:30 PM
Deadline to Register for Superhero Day Camp is May 30. There will be no walk up registrations.
Grades: Entering Kindergarten through Entering 5th Grade
Activities for K-1st Grades: Kindergarten and 1st grade campers will experience a different set of activities based on the activities age appropriateness. K-1 campers will work on creating their own comic strip in a book that will be provided to each camper. K-1 Campers will use Superhero Comic Book Maker app by Khan Academies to assist in the comic creation process.
Activities for 2nd-5th Grades: Come explore how to create, design, and write your own superhero movie using a green screen. Campers will work in groups to use iPads and Apps to develop their movies. Green Screen by Do Ink app will be utilized by the campers to create each groups superhero movie.
Worship Time K-5: Campers will visit the Hero's of Mega City where costumed heroes run about. Campers will step into a secret lair to help fight injustice with inspiration for the heroes from the Bible during this video series.
Crafts for K-1: Superhero Mosaics, Superhero Masks, and Superhero Capes
Crafts for 2-5: Superhero Mosaics, Superhero Masks, and a design time to bring the superhero in their movies to life.
Outdoor Activities K-5: Fun high energy outdoor games including water games. Please send a swim suit each day with your camper.
The cost of the camp includes a field trip to the Children's Museum, a camp t-shirt, and popsicles.
Lunch and snacks are NOT provided. Please send a lunch and snack with your camper each day.
Extended Hours are available. Please register for Extended Hours for June 3-7 before checking out.

Under the Sea Day Camp (Grades K-5)
June 10-14, 2019
9:00 AM-3:30 PM
Deadline to register for Under the Sea Day Camp is June 6. There will be no walk up registrations.
Grades: Entering Kindergarten through Entering 5th Grade
K-1 Activities: Kindergarten and 1st grade campers will experience a different set of activities based on the activities age appropiateness. K-1 campers will be guided with assistance through underwater engineering experiments that go along with the Pepper Mint story that the instructor reads to the group. Campers will work in small groups with a camp counselor to discover hydraulic machines work, experiment with bubbles and water, as well as design and create a machine to retrieve items in water.
2-5 Activities: Build, Experiment, Learn, and Play during Under the Sea Day Camp. Campers will read the story of Pepper Mint, a curious, skillful, and creative young engineer, and experiment alongside her. Campers will work in groups during this story based STEM week as Pepper Mint arrives in the Bermuda Triangle. There Pepper Mint and the campers discover that the ocean water there behaves in strange and unexpected ways. When the ship's system fails, Pepper Mint and the campers figure out how to use water to make hydraulic machines. They conduct hands on experiments, build a ship, and learn lessons in science and engineering.
Worship Time K-5: Campers will be welcomed aboard the Steadfast, a deep-sea rescue submarine. Join Captain Sandbar and his loyal first mate, Major Reefrash, as they journey to the deepest parts of the ocean. Their mission: to rescue a stranded garbage submarine, the Scumscrubber. Join the mission and see how God wants us to live by studying passages from the book of James.
K-5 Crafts: Sticky Sand Art, Making Slime, and Bottle Sand Art
Outdoor Activities: Fun high energy outdoor games including water games. Please send a swim suit each day with your camper.
The cost of the camp includes a field trip to the Indianapolis Zoo, a camp t-shirt, and popsicles.
Lunch and campers snacks are NOT provided. Please send in a lunch and snacks with the camper each day.

Adventures in Science Day Camp (Grades K-5)
June 17-21, 2019
9:00 AM-3:30 PM
Deadline to register for Adventures in Science is June 13. There will be no walk up registrations.
Grades: Entering Kindergarten through Entering 5th Grade
K-1st Grade Activities: Kindergarten and 1st grade campers will experience a different set of activities based on the age appropriateness. The chef and baker inside your camper will develop during a fun interactive kitchen science experience. Campers will see how water can evaporate and sugar molecules grow to create rock candy. Campers in K-1 will work in small groups with camp counselors to cook, decorate, and run through experiments. Decorating cookies, make candy crystals, skittles rainbow experiment, making Jello Jigglers, and cooking with a solar powered pizza box are a few of the activities campers will expect.
2nd-5th Activities: The chef and baker inside your camper will develop during a fun interactive kitchen science experience. Campers will have the opportunity to learn the science behind their baking and cooking. Campers will see how water can evaporate and sugar molecules grow to create rock candy. Campers will decorate cookies, make candy crystals, complete a skittles rainbow experiment, explore what temperature is best to dissolve sugar when making Jello Jigglers, and make a solar powered pizza box to cook s'mores.
Daily Worship: Step into the lab and get ready to examine the mysterious elements and miraculous events in the Bible. Campers will tag along during the video with Dr. Oppenheimerstein and his assistant, Flask, as they seek to tackle some of the greatest wonders of our time.
Outdoor Activities K-5: Fun high energy outdoor games including water games. Please send a swim suit each day with your camper.
The cost of camp includes a field trip to a local restaurant yet to be determined, a camp t-shirt, and popsicles.

LEGO WeDo Robotics Day Camp (Grades K-5)
June 24-28, 2019

Deadline to register for LEGO WeDo is June 20. There will be no walk-up registsrations.
Grades: Entering Kindergarten through Entering 5th Grade
K-1st Grade Activities: Kindergarten and 1st grade campers will experience a different set of activities based on the age appropriateness. LEGO Education WeDo is a hands-on STEM solution that combines the LEGO brick, classroom-friendly software, engaging standards-based projects and a discovery based approach. Collaboration is key to creating your design. Campers will learn to work together using computational thinking and engineering principals in a fun and engaging way. Campers will be guided by camp counselors through specific steps to complete a build. Then, in the computer lab, campers will add sounds and motions using drag and drop coding to bring their LEGO build to life.
2nd-5th Grade Activites: LEGO Education WeDo is a hands-on STEM solution that combines the LEGO brick, classroom-friendly software, engaging standards-based projects and a discovery based approch. Collaboration is key to creating your design. Campers will learn to work together using computational thinking and engineering principals in a fun and engaging way. Campers will work with partners during the guided build process to build their robot. Using iPads, campers will then code using a drag and drop LEGO created program to create commands for their robot to perform. Camp counselors will be available to offer assistance to 2nd-5th grade campers.
K-1 Crafts: Paint a LEGO Head, LEGO paper bag puppet, LEGO sun catcher, and LEGO bricks picture frames.
2nd-5th Grade Crafts: Paint a LEGO head, LEGO brick picture frames, LEGO sun catchers, and LEGO friendship bracelets.
Daily Worship K-5: In Epic Kids, children will get to experience the biggest, and most amazing lessons of the Bible! Gather 'round as we relive incredible moments when oceans parted, city walls crumbled and fell down, giants were defeated, and fire fell from the sky! Your campers will learn about worship, obedience, being prepared, boldness, courage, peace, salvation, and the importance of a good attitude during difficult circumstances. We'll also use our imagination in Not So Epic Theatre to find out what could have happened in these lessons if the people had made the wrong decisions instead. God has big lessons to teach us and He knows how to teach in big ways! So, step inside, take a seat and hold on tight. This one is going to be Epic!

Jurassic World Day Camp (Grades K-5)
July 22-26, 2019

Deadline to register for Jurassic World is July 18. There will be no walk-up registrations.
Grades: Entering Kindergarten through Entering 5th Grade
Camp Description: During this week your campers are going to be transformed into archeologists and geologists. We will dive dep into the center of the earth where they will discover fossils, rocks, and even learn about some volcanic activity.
Crafts/Activities: Volcanoes, Terrariums, Dino Eggs, Geodes, and Dino Sand Art
Daily Worship: Campers will join Kit and new sidekick Angus Fetchenpepper as they search for the lost treasure of the pirate Blue Boots. Campers will join their search and discover how to apply the real treasure, the Bible, to their life along the way.
Outdoor Activities: Fun high energy outdoor games including water games. Please send a swim suit each day with your camper.
